My most recent silver art bar purchase today................... It is a 1976 Normark Mint "Gasparilla 1976" silver art bar. I bought it at the main local coin shop that I go to and I paid $36.68 for it (9-7-2012 spot silver = $33.68/oz).
I see a nice collection there but better picture would be muuuuuch better ... may be to add better resolution of the same picture so people could zoom
I tried a new software to form a quick collage. I'll work with it some more. They did come out a little fuzzy.
you can do it in picasa as well ... and keep original size ... though picture collage going to be huuuuge))
I posted this on another forum, so I will post here as well. Please read the following statement before clicking on the link. Thank you. DO NOT CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING LINK IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY "DIRTY" PICTURES The Gif picture in the link is the VERY rare set of Dr. Peepers 12 month physical fitness program. Each bar of the 12 bar set represents 1 of the months of the year and has a different "activity" that a couple can perform to help keep them physically fit. I understand, from Silver Art, that there were 100 sets minted in 1991(I believe) by The Mint. I have seen singles for sale and just recently a complete set popped up on Ebay. If I had the extra cash I would have bought the set off Ebay, I think it was a good price. I have the complete set and the original packaging. I picked it up awhile back for a steal and I don't think I will ever be offered enough to get rid of it. Follow the link, if you're over 21 and do not mind erotic pictures.:thumb: http://imageshack.us/a/img411/6986/drpeepers3.gif
A few Koalas A Canuck and An ASE These coins are hard to image through the capsules and I really don't want to get them out. The ASE is in OGP and I forgot to wipe it off, so there's a few prints and stuff on the capsule. The Eagle is actually really beautiful.
Hey beachbum... long time no see. I was over at the Huntington beach spot about a week or so ago. It was slim pickins for me over there. I do the rounds over to the "gold mine" and "london coins" but lately you cant get a deal there, and they dont have anything I like. I got a little place down in south county I go to, prices are the best in Orange county, if you're ever headed to the Dana point / San Clemente area, let me know. I'll introduce you to my coin guy down there.
Okie dokie. You should try some other places. I can PM you suggestions too. London Coin Gallery in Newport is a waste of time.
