Should I leave it in the plastic "case" or put it in an air-tite case?

You should leave the Panda in it's governmental packaging. You reduce its resale value as soon as you cut it out.

  3. Ships in a capsule just like Kooks and Koalas so you can just open it not in a plastic sheet. I get why some would prefer original packaging but those capsules are imho inferior to air-tites and the coins move around slightly in them.

the reason why we leave it with original sealed government plastic holder. is to proof that we never open it, change it, touch it or sent it to grading companies. most dealers will consider that coin inferior quality. like grade69 or below. thus price will be very much lower. current common modern new coins should always grade70. otherwise it is like a garbage thing. but raw original sealed coin command better price that grade69 and below.

  5. You can open and close Panda, Kook and Koalas capsule at will best I can tell.

True collectors don't care about resale value.

Maybe, however this is a bullion forum. Bullion buyers should absolutely consider resale. The modern Panda is a bullion coin. (Though I realize there are some proofs out there.)
