If I had any I would be more than happy to sell them to you for 50 apiece John. All of my ASE's and other NIFC's have long been sent to the smelters. Except for my USMC's for a good reason of course.

I also hold the same conviction towards the First Spouse coins, The only one I would pay a slight premium for would be the Jefferson Liberty

I would buy it for spot but I'm sure if you sold on eBay you would get more than that. Its just not worth it to me. My Local coin shop wouldn't even give you spot for it.

Of course, most coin shops would look at these as just plain bullion and give spot for the Hot Springs ATB. But as a seller, you don't have to sell it. If indeed you have a PCGS graded SP70 2010 Hot Springs ATB, that's worth a lot more to a collector than just bullion spot. At current spot prices, I'd venture to say between $500-$1000 is the real value to a collector. However, I haven't seen a SP70 graded Hot Springs ATB by PCGS..that in itself would be a great find. IMO

Why is it that some that cannot see that there is some bullion that is collectible and sometimes commands a substantial premium, feel the need to chime in with complete and utter nonsense. When you find a collectible half dollar or dime or any other coin that was made in the last 25 years and they command a substantial premium, do you tell the seller "it's just a half dollar or a dime or whatever other coin"? How hard do they laugh at you?

I think they just want to be a nuisance. I personally don't get it.

I'm not a huge ATB guy...but I have seen this particular coin for sale in the $600-$800 range. Whither that's a current price range or not...I have no idea. But, they do command a substantial premium over melt. But, many of these modern "hot" coins do cool off a few years down the road too. So, in a few years...you might not be able to sell it for even close to what you paid.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

No, they believe that the world revolves around them and demand that the rest of the world get in line with them.

In the words of the Geezer, a former member of this forum who somehow got himself silenced, "De gustibus non est disputandum."

Or, "regarding preferences, there is no dispute". With that being the case, why can't we just live and let live?

I'm sure its worth more than melt and if someone wanted to sell one in eBay it could realize a large premium if there are only 5050 sp70s in pcgs slabs.

Not being a nuisance, He edited his original question which was " What would you pay for a SP70 5oz ATB"
