Not sure about the $200 mark. It was poured in June so value was apx. $150ish. He started making these bars in May 2012, 34 five ounce bars were made in May. Hers's the May 2012 bar.

The cancelled strike version of the 1973 Belford Mint "Cal. 45 ACP" (second picture from the top of this post) is a very good find. It is a very good find because, generally speaking, cancelled strikes of certain silver art bars are very hard to find because the very low mintages. Congrats. :)

I bought an Australian 2012 1/2 OZ SILVER LUNAR YEAR OF THE DRAGON (SERIES 2) bullion coin with my ebay bucks. It's a real stunner....proof-like perfection. 2012AusDragonObv.jpg 2012AusDragonRev.jpg

That is a very good find IMO. That "Watergate 1973" silver art bar was minted by Silver Creations LTD but the design of it is really that of an E.J. Aleo & Associates silver art bar since it is the same design and strike that is also on the 1-oz version of the Watergate 1973 silver art bars. The bar pictured should be 1600 grains (3.33 troy oz's).

Wow, it's been over a month since anybody has bought any Silver bullion? These are a few that I snapped a picture of that I have picked up in the last month, along with some ASEs and a Foster Company 1969 Flying Eagle 1 ounce Silver bar(It's already in the safety deposit box, so no pictures for now of it). That makes the Foster Company my oldest Silver art bar.:)

What's pictured: The Colt Peacemaker is from The Belford Mint - 1973. I got it for $30, not that rare(15k made) The Happy Birthday bar is a Ceeco Enameled bar - 1975. According to the guidebook it was worth $50 in 1986, I paid $32 for it the other week.:) The 1 ounce round is from my local coin club, I picked it up for $35 last weekend. Happy Hunting.

The 1973 Belford Mint "Peacemaker" silver art bar is the best find IMO.

Hey 70SA, The "Peacemaker" came from the same gentleman at my coin club meeting before he brought me the SABs to sell for him.:) He came by my house yesterday and brought me 10 more SABs to put in the auction. I told him that he cannot keep bringing SABs over because I am doing this to make money and I keep trading extras that I have for his, and they go into my collection and no profits in my pockets.:)

Yeah that is good to be able to get the SAB that you want. Believe it or not, I have never sold any SAB's on ebay. I just get on ebay to watch winning bids and BIN prices on certain ones that are on my wish list. I will occasionally bid on one but it is not very often since I concentrate on buying them as cheaply as possible at the LCS and at the coin shows. I have not bought any SAB's this past week. As a matter of fact, I have not bought any since the last coin show that I attended in Dalton, GA last weekend. I might check out a couple of LCS this up coming week to see what SAB's (if any) I can find.

That peacemaker is pretty cool. I'd buy one from you and give you a little profit...

I'm really liking these handpours or cottage pours as I like to call them.

I was building a decent beginners collection of 3 ASE 2001, 2011, 2012. Munich Olympic coins, 1935 Hindenburg silver coin. A couple peace dollars, 1923, 1928. random kennedy, franklin halves. a couple dimes, ATB Vicksburg 5oz., 3 1oz. ingots and a few austrian coins with low silver content. Had to sell them off for family reason but am starting my collection again. I love this thread so much.
