I found 20 halves between 64 and 68 out of 4 rolls given to me by a local bank! ;) Got me addicted to looking for them now. 4 were 64's. One of the 64's looks great. I just don't have a good camera to take pictures of these... that's next on my bucket list!

    Today's results:
    $1 Pennies: 17 Copper, a 55D Wheatie.
    $10 Nickles: 39P, 47P, 48P.
    $15 Dimes: Skunk.
$360 Quarters: Skunk. If I didn't need ATB Ps, I would forget it. But I have some cashiers who buy my rolls, so I don't have them very long.
$88 Halfs. Some loose, and the rest of the box from the other day I didn't get because I didn't have enough cash. I don't make withdrawls for rolls. One NIFC hole filler, a 2009P.:)

    $10.50 loose halves: Nothing
Box of dimes: One silver Roosie
$280 BWR dimes: One silver Roosie
$145 CWR dimes: Two silver Roosies

Nothing foreign, which is a little strange with that sort of volume.

Hey guys, I'm new to this... As I stated previously, I'm buying a bunch of halves to sort through... After reading more on this site I wonder if I should split my money up and buy some of each denominations? Is there a good strategy to this?

Test the waters for a week or two and then continue with whatever gets you results.

    Weekly results:

    Quarters ($460 searched): Washington x4, 1970 Proof/SMS, and 29 assorted Territory proofs
    Dimes ($1635 searched): Roosie x13
    Nickels ($464 searched): War x6, Buff x1, and a 1971S Proof
Pennies ($26 searched): Wheat x13 including a nice RB 1925
    Halves ($1512 searched): BF x2, 90% x2, 40% x3
And an 1861 $1 Gold Piece

My July is still going strong! Some really interesting scores this week, including the gold piece and the massive amount of proof coins I found. Actually, my Jefferson Nickel album includes slots for proofs from 1968 to 1975, so I was really excited to find the 1971S Nickel as I haven't filled a hole in that album in a long time. All my halves finds came from my first box of the week, hopefully the 2 skunk boxes I had aren't my lucky streak ending. Total silver found this week was 3.8914 ozt, plus the gold.

Oh and foreign this week: 80c Canada (including a George VI cent), 14p UK, 12c Euro, 25c Ecuador, 3c Trinidad, 5c Bahamas, 6c Bermuda

    First post....loving this site!

Over the past 3 weeks my hunting has been for nothing(not even a wheat), today I finally got time to open my standard 12 rolls(4 penny, 4 nickel, 2 dime, 2 quarter) and was shocked to find the following: 1917 wheat penny, 2 1936 buffalo nickels, and a 1902S Barber quarter! Needless to say my dwindling faith in bank wrapped rolls was rekindled!

Thank you all for having me,

    Lucas
