Sweet. I was going to order multiple sets then decided not to because I'm only going to send in one set for grading. I'll order two more separate orders one of which goes to NGC in the sealed box.
I may have to up my guess for the eventual mintage numbers.... An internal server error has occurred. If you would like to place an order you can always call 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468). Sorry for the inconvenience.
I was just thinking that the 25th set was a better deal - 5 coins for $300. This set should be $120, or you should get 2 1/2 ASEs at $150
I am not sure why you would need to send in a sealed box to a TPG this time around. None of the coins in this set are available elsewhere like in the 2011 25th anniversary set (at least not yet). TC
I got my order placed at 1:10pm in my time zone :hail: Order # 39717xxx Website was down for about 1/2 hour for me.
At NGC collectors society it gives instructions on how to send these coins in for submission. They want the coins just in the capsules without the mint packaging, and you have a choice of labels. You can choose standard brown, blue early release or a special san francisco label.
Got my two orders in Order Number: 39733xxx. Hopefully I get them really soon. The shipping said June 22 then it said something like July something or other. They'll get it right. At first I was just gonna wait to order but with my luck something may go wrong so I jumped on the gimme train.
"I am not sure why you would need to send in a sealed box to a TPG this time around. . . . . " Usually, I compulsively check out the NGC requirements. This time i didn't do it. I'll call the Mint tomorrow and change the order.
NGC didn't get one already. They use a 2012 with a different mint mark (notice that they don't show the obverse). Or it might be photoshopped, too. NGC only wants the coins in the capsules. No other mint packaging. http://www.ngccoin.com/news/viewarticle.aspx?IDArticle=2790&
I just tried to order my set but it says that the order is suspended on my US mint account summary page. Is anyone else having this problem?
Mine is currently "on hold". I wouldn't worry too much Phil. I've seen 'suspended' on my orders from the mint. The status usually changes in a couple of days. Nothing to worry about.
Yes, it moved to on-hold now. I've canceled my second order, which I created when the first order went to suspension. My order number is 3973xxxx. It looks like about 20k orders on the first day. It will be interesting to see the count at 3 PM EST today.
