What is humiliating you is that the standard reference doesn't fit your fantasy
and if you admit it, your whole world view come crumbling on your head.

why don't you stick to the topic of the thread and answer the question if you paid your
    taxes in gold.

Indeed it is. So I assume then you are sorry for creating a post(s) for no other purpose than to call me belligerent & a troll given that the rest of it made absolutely no sense to the topic. I assume you won't make this mistake again.
Just answered. If you think someone is creating off-topic posts, then report them. Then again, I'm thinking you are scared to do so.

Your question makes no sense this is why there is no answer. The topic, which you apparently did not read and is even in the topic title. Isn't about paying your taxes in Washington State in gold in silver. you have this completely wrong.

The topic, since you don't read OPs is about the PROPOSAL to make gold and silver legal tender and it's affect on prices.

    Therefore your question, is meaningless.

taxes in gold , particularly in Washington, instead of being belligerent.

Perhaps your not in Washington but instead KNOW someone in Washington who paid their taxes in gold.

Reuben, you lectured us on sticking to the topic when you didn't even take the time to find what the topic was.

Answering your question would be off-topic. Leave the forum moderation to the moderators and administrators.

The topic is not about paying taxes in Washington. It's about the proposal to make gold and silver legal tender and its affect on their prices.

Reuben, PROPOSAL means it's proposed. Nobody can pay their taxes by this method in Washington State if the law has not passed.

You got the topic completely wrong. You didn't read it.

Was it not said that other states passed such a bill, did anyone pay their taxes with gold anywhere?

Topic is about Washington State. The topic is about the law's proposal on the prices of gold and silver. The is not about people paying taxes with gold & silver. So your question is off-topic. Surprising given that you have decided lecture us on being off-topic.

If you are really interested in whether people are using gold & silver coins to pay taxes, then why don't you start a topic on the subject? Anyone who truly cares shouldn't have an issue with this.

Nothing here about paying taxes. The topic is about the PROPOSED law's effect on the price of gold and silver.
    From the OP.

Being that I'm from the great State of Washington, and that we are a sale tax state I'm pretty excited about this part of HB 2731:

    15 NEW SECTION.
Sec. 6. TAX AND REGULATORY TREATMENT. (1) No tax
16 may be imposed on the sale, exchange, or other disposition of any gold
