The shipping is 10 pounds. I forgot to mention that you can get a lower price from them if you enroll in the site. There is no charge to enroll. Just to be clear, the prices are in pounds and given the excahnge rate, one of their dollars equals about 1.55 of ours.

I'm not trying to tell anybody what to do, but I have both BU and proof Britannias. To me, it is not worth paying three times the price of the BU to get a proof unless you absolutely LOVE the coin. The only difference between the 2 formats is the BU has a mirrored finish on the entire coin and the proof has frosted devices with a mirrored background.

Again, I'm not trying to interfere, but thought I might help you save a little money to spend on other coins you may want.

Nice catch, treehugger. If it were 20% more I'd do it. 300? no way.

Yes, I have all of the sets that have been produced since 1997. Not every year had a four coin set.

  7. Treehugger has a good point. which years don't come in 4 coin sets?

I've got a few. Added one to an album of the Britannias.

I don't have any of these, just some 2009 Britannias.

Would like to get my sweaty hands on one though.

These are neat coins. About time The Royal Mint comes up to the World standard of 99.9% Silver standard.;)

while mintage for previous years were limited to 100,000 pieces. 2013 might be unlimited. most other bullion type of coins were also increase its production.

Good point! For collectors of limited bullion it might be a bad thing. For bullion accumulators like me its a better thing in both ways, more production (lower costs) and higher silver content .999:hail:
