I see lots of sites but either they do not ship to Canada or Shipping is more than what the copper bar is. XD
Instead of buying copper bars, you can search in change or rolls for copper cents (anything before 1997 I think), which eliminates nearly all shipping costs and costs face value
The places I'd try are Copper Cave and Provident Metals. I think you're going to need to buy a volume to have it make sense, or cents...
Exactly, don't attempt to buy one or two bars at a time, those singular bars and rounds are marked up in the neighborhood of 400-500% over spot.
Provident Metals are great. I just ordered from them and when you spend over $100 in copper, you get free shipping
I don't think they'll have that offer available to Canada, but if they do I'm guessing the OP will be there PDQ to place an order.
Copper cents won't work for anyone outside the U.S. as the government has outlawed the "export" of copper, zinc cents, and nickel, nickels due to what the government feels would lead to a shortage of cents and nickels for day to day business operation. Really it's about the fact that it takes like 7cents to make a 5 cent nickel and 3.5 cents to make a 1cent piece. The law has been around for a while and in 2002 was officially put into law and enforcable. It's http://www.usmint.gov/pressroom/index.cfm?action=press_release&ID=724 As for buying just do a google search for copper bars and rounds I found this place that specifically mentions shipping to canada prices... http://www.copperbullioncoin.com/categories/Copper-Bullion-Bars-and-Rounds/
