Looking on the internet and gonna purchase a roll (20) of ASE,S. My question is do alot of the companies that sell them look thru them first? Then sell you the ones that might be slightly not perfect? Looks like gainville coins have the best price. Maybe someone could stear me where I would be purchasing at a better price? Or would I be better off waitng for our local coin show in 3 weeks. Thankyou for your help, Jim

I don't think you will get a damaged coin but anything that has a chance of getting MS70 im sure gets picked out. The bullion dealers are making the public mad with this crap and the mint might just start selling direct to the public because of it. I wont feel bad for the bullion dealers when they are cut out.

check paradise mint- free shipping and no cc charge. the lid should be on tight when you get them and they should be unsearched no matter where you get them---oppps they seem to be out---anyway I'd wait for sub$30 prices

Apmex sells unopened, from the US Mint, rolls that contain 20 ASEs. They have branded it MintDirect. Sound like exactly what you are looking for.

For ASEs, my first choice is always Mint Products. If you compare them with Gainesville Coins and add shipping to both, Mint Products is actually cheaper. The rolls are guaranteed to be unopened. Even when I have purchased single ASEs in the past from them, I have found the quality of the coins they sell to be better than other dealers.

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

I would say sometimes. I know I witnessed something today, somebody at my coin club inquired about buying some 2012 ASEs and the dealer pulled them out, buyer picked them out, and the dealer dropped them back in the tube individually. You could hear the clanking and just feel those new scratches come on.
