ASE's, really?

I love the American Silver Eagle Coins, you can't go wrong with those especially if you buy them in today's market. That's what I hope anyways. As I was looking at my stash the other day I came across a couple other's that seem to have a great following and a better than average resale value. Of course the Mexican 8 Reales look great but don't seem to appreciate that much, at least not so much that I've noticed. One silver coin that seems to do really well is the Silver Panda. I know there's alot of fakes out there but I buy mine from a very reputable dealer and I've never had a problem. If you look at the graded ones they do really well when it comes time for resale. Anyone here specifically buy any other bullion ounce coins besides the ASE's that do really well at resale time? Anyone? Just wondering, it's almost time to make a silver run but of course I gotta make some money before I spend some. :D

What's will all the coloring of silver coins anyways? Sure is competitive out there...

I bought an American Prospector 1 oz coin yesterday. Paid $1 over spot for it. When I checked it on ebay, they were going for a few dollars more.

Here's how I see it. If someone on the street is selling fake Art Bars, good luck on getting the local PD interested in tracking them down. If someone is selling fake ASE's, then it's counterfiting and Secrect Service will be getting involved.

As for colored coins, if you check out my avatar you may think it's a colored ASE, but it's not. It's a photo of a proof ASE with a pizza ad refected on the mirrored surface. There are peperoni's in that sunset. Two of my favorites, ASE's and pizza.

Minus ebay and paypal fees your normally not making any profit over selling elsewhere.

I think ASEs are best. Maple Leafs are a close second.

There's another thread going about almost the same thing, in which I mentioned how much I enjoy Britannias. Next, Libertads. Also I like Peru's Sol, but that's not bullion. Likewise some of the Panama Balboas are really cool. Somalian elephants? Believe it or not, apmex has a good selection.

Yeah, but does anyone collect any of these colored coins? Some look really cool and may do really well in the secondary market, anyone making big dollars off of these? just wonde'rin... I'm just thinking about the next money maker I need to place on ebay.

Colored Bullion Coins - only if they were minted that way by the appropriate Mint. Otherwise, I just avoid them. Granted I've seen some colorized Silver Eagles that are really nice, but not for me.
