How many kids on this site do you think had 2k sitting around to make a quick flip investment, I would bet a large percentage of people on this site don't even have the money to buy one set to keep......Like I said more than once, more power to the people who made money off a quick flip, not my thing, but I'm happy for you. I just don't see the set having the fundamentals to maintain their current prices.

Don't see the fundamentals? Well, some of us have it and some don't. Now, I'd be real concerned sitting there holding only bullion after an historic run up.

I'm as diversified as I'll ever need to be. Don't know what would make you think any different.

That comes to $1,400 per set at the starting bid. NGC 70 sets have been selling on eBay for as low as $1,300 to $1,345 for the past 24 hours or so, and going down about $25 to $50 per day for the past week.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

It's the law of supply and demand.

If, on eBay, 100 people desperate to have these are bidding on 200 available sets,
what do you think will happen to the price? It's going to go way down!

One year from now, when there are only 25 of these available and 175 people are
desperate to have them, what do you think will happen to the prices? The price
    will skyrocket!

I'm holding mine in the hope that the market shakes out and there are fewer of
these sets available in the future. I do not predict a higher price in the future, nor
do I promise it. I am hoping for it, though.

No one here has a crystal ball. Arguing over what might happen to the price in the
future is an exercise in futility that no one can win.

2011-S ASE MS-70 Early Releases for sale on Coin Vault right now for $599.95. The guy says they're going to sell out soon. What's funny is, the close up of the date on the one they're showing, has a big nick in the rim and probably shouldn't have gotten a 70.

The guy is recommending people buy multiples of it. And that there's more people on hold than they have coins available. "You can try their website if you can't get through."

Now they're selling a 25th set of NGC 70s, a set of 20th 70s and an '06 W MS-70 from the two coin set with a (brace yourselves) 20th anniv. BLUE LABEL. All come in a MASSIVE wooden storage box, with an engraved plate, individually numbered and a COA from the Coin vault. Only $4999.

I've seen three NGC 70 sets sell for under $1,300 today, two at $1,250, but there's still around a $200 window in daily high/low auction close pricing. Tells me there are some inexperienced (or very hungry) buyers out there willing to pay a premium. But overall, we're still in a down-trend on the NGC set prices.
