New here so hope this is the right section!

I am thinking of buying one of the clad and silver U.S. Army commemorative coins before the end of the year (12 days left to be sold) and was wondering if we know what is to be released next year? Does the mint release this information early on or will we not know what will be sold until 2012. If it is a design I will enjoy more I may just wait.

    Thank you!:thumb:

    Oh great link! Thank you!

This only goes until the end of the year though and not 2012, unless they are on to the fact the world is supposed to end and will be minting anything next year! :thumb: Are there any commemorative coins to be released next year? (Besides the ASE's)

The production of Commems, like all of our coinage, is controlled by Congressional legislation which must be passed in advance.

They are also doing a Star Spangled Banner Commemorative for 2012.

treehugger, I like your sence of humor. :>)

  9. On a positive note, the Girl Scout commemorative will resemble a thin mint cookie. :smile. TC

Do you think the grading services will consider it "mint damage"?
