it is hard to get a comprehensive count because your search terms almost always exclude many auctions.

I'm watching the single Reverse Proof and -S auctions because that is probably how I will sell mine if I get them. Bids are around $300 apiece now with over 12hr to go.

I hope all you sellers are reporting these profits on your end of the year tax forms! ;)

It's no wonder you can't find anything.

maybe with all the money the mint made on these sets and all the money exchanging hands this will stimulate the economy ! lol i doubt it

For how many likely went out already and were delivered, I don't see that many on ebay. Only about 170 sets. I figured there would have been over a thousand for sale by now.

  9. I think many are getting them graded first and going for the big money. TC

Just watched a single, opened set go from $785 to $850 at the last second this morning.

I got both my orders, my intentions were to pre-sale but that got shot down. I'll prolly list them under BIN for a higher price for single open sets and then the other box at 4-5k BIN. Call me crazy but someone will buy them.

My set sold today for $750 After Ebay, Paypal, and shipping fees my net profit was $335.91. I like that, it makes my set free.:) I will wait awhile to sell the other sets. I may end up keeping them, as well.

I think people are getting confused since some of the unopened packages may have 1 set or 2 sets or 5 sets. They view the completed auctions and see that an unopened box went for $2000 or something, but didn't realize that there's actually 3 sets in the box, which is why that particular auction sold for so much.

I decided to sell a set, it sold for almost 3 times what i paid. just under 900. buyer already paid and i shipped it out today overnight delivery.

but if i think about it , i took a day off the day of release & and a day off yesterday. i'm not sure if i made or loss money lol. but a lot of fun.

Question is, was that via eBay? If so then you didn't make as much profit as it sounds. If you factor in fees and overnight shipping, you might be under. Sometimes under making 100% profit.

I bought five sets and received a pretty good size box today from the mint. My question is "should I open the big box"? If I open the box, I can only submit the two unique coins as 25th Aniversary coins. Why would I want to submit the other three coins anyway? I really want to open the box but would like a few opinions from the esteem group.
