After seeing the unpacking video I have decided to not let this thing go for less than a grand- it is clearly worth much more.

Yes, not only are they beautiful but they are UNIQUE !!! :p

Considering sending them to get graded and then as a minimum I will keep 2 sets !!!

That's probably a little high at this time. In the short term, there's going to be too many people selling all at once. I'm sure if everybody worked together and fixed the price at $1000, a few would sell, but most would not. Which would drive prices back down to where they are now. As they settle into collections and more disappear, that's probably a realistic figure at some point.

That is a very well done video. Thanks for the time and effort in making it. I get my sets this morning but am sending them off the NGC in the sealed box so I won't get to see them. What a great looking set!

Thanks for the video... I would love getting one of these but not anywhere near the feeding frenzy prices at present

the market itself is wrong on this one- once people see what these sets are the value should definitely pop up to $1K+ I know for a fact that I will not let mine go for less.

Well, if there are suckers out there willing to pay 1K or more for these sets, I wish I had bought five to unload before the 30 year set comes along and the prices drop in anticipation of the next bullion "rarity". I'll be ready next time.

The uneducated buyers on Ebay are paying very little premium for sealed sets. Big mistake. Not cherrypicked, and can submit to PCGS at anytime for labels (F/S and Anniversary). Sealed should be $200 more.

I didn't think that they would go that quickly. Are they sold out at the Mint? I didn't see them on the website.

Thanks for the video. I got mine yesterday but since I'm sending them off to be graded I didn't get the pleasure of opening them and enjoying them yet. Your video (almost) made up for that. It was tough looking at that sealed box last night. I felt like a kid at Christmas time, knowing that my presents were hidden in the closet and wanting to take a peek.

Yeah, you really had to be paying attention on Oct. 27th. They went on sale at 11:00 EDT and were sold out around 3:30 EDT that day. The mint said 25k sold in the first hour. I barely got through to get my 5. It was very difficult. If I hadn't set up a my account earlier in the week, I probably wouldn't have gotten any. Was barely able to get out of there with quick check out at 1 p.m. CDT.

May be its just me but i can't justify paying that much premium for set with a mintage of 100k, couple years from know once the hype has died down you will lucky to get half as much for it.

I completely agree which is why I didnt buy the set and dont plan on to.
I never understood how people could pay such a huge premium for modern coins when the same amount of money could be used to purchase a classical.
But who am I to judge
    To each his own
