Same here. I'm just trying to be realistic about the demand for these. I'm not a big ASE collector. I like them but only own a handful of them. That didn't matter here. I wish I would have been collecting in 2006 so I could have purchased a few of the 20th sets from the mint but I wasn't. They were an awesome deal for $100. I did buy an 06 rev. proof last year because I didn't know if there would be another. I wasn't going to miss out on this set. I did get excited. I bought five of them and will keep three. If they start selling for over $1k a set, I will still hang on to my three. I don't care. I got this excited about this set and I'm not an ASE collector!! I think it's a beautiful set and my kid was born the day before this was released. So what does that tell me? There has to be a lot of people out there that are into them far more than I am. They may not have even gotten a set. Then there's how many people just like me? How many people just want one set because their kid was born this year (at ANY time during the year), for that reason alone? There could be 10 to 20k right there. How many of them want multiple sets over that? How many sets will be broken up to get the keys graded? Lets just be realistic. Unless SHTF happens, there is no point in selling this set to a dealer for $420 when the reverse proof alone should be worth that, if not more. The burnished S may settle around $100 to $200 itself. Then you still have three more ounces of silver including a proof which is never going to be close to melt. I would guess $600 is the low end and $1k is the high end for these going forward. It's going to be somewhere in between. I don't think there's enough people that would pay $1k for this set for it to sustain a price like that but who knows. We might be surprised as time goes on and inflation kicks in. There's just a lot of people out there. There's a lot of people who are going to keep multiple sets for themselves. I think some may over-estimate availability as time goes on and these settle in to collections.
Well, gosh dang, we may know in a few days as these sets seem to be poised to ship. Let the game begin..... Just a collector, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn (back a few years ago, in a town I can't remember, in a time I've long ago forgotten)

hmm...I'm doubting it...picture is way to blurry to see shipping date on the label and his auction ends in 4+ days. A good majority of us will have them by then oopps....removed

so now ebay needs to just keep there nose out of the sales and understand they are in hand. I heard ebay was trying to block sales on sealed boxes, but maybe because it was a pre-sale.
sets going on ebay selling fast... but then i guess canceled because not in close auctions any more..
There aren't too many completed auctions. 1 set ended as sold $769.99 $699.00 5 sets ended as sold $3,625.00 $3,489.99 $3,300.00 $3,500.00
It looks like 8 single sets have went for or will be going for over $700 today. A sealed one went for $999!
