2011 ASE 25th Anniversary Set (A25) - Order thread

We talk about sequence of order numbers, I don't think it works like that, especially if you used a credit card. Your ship date will depend on the delay your credit card company caused. Read this from the mint:

If an order has outstanding issues-such as credit card holds, household order limit violations, or address verification conflicts, the next orders in line can be fulfilled before the one with outstanding issues. Once the outstanding issues are resolved, the order is reinserted next in line. Accordingly, such reinserted orders will not be processed for shipment in the same sequence as their order numbers.

Those of you who have received your sets...

Did you ever have the ability to track it. My order received a tracking number late last night or early this morning, but am unable to track. (shipped on 11/09/2011) I just want to make sure I am around for the arrival of the package and wondering if it will be delivered today or tomorrow.

like to have a $ for every time i checked on my order don't know why i cant make it go any faster and i will get a set if i am supposed to if not well ill just have to buy 1 elsewhere

Never tried to track it - got an email last night saying it has been shipped. UPS man woke me up at 10:30 this morning. I do live close to the Pittny Bowes center though, so it generally only takes one or two days to recieve a shipment.

 

on the mint site does it happen to say your Shipped on date?

If you can't track it, it hasn't shipped.

 

or hasn't updated in their system yet. next day shipping is pretty fast.

 

I received a tracking number today and when I click on the link, the UPS website tells me that a shipping label has been created. I can't be home tomorrow to sign for the package, but I can get a family member to do it for me. My only question is how do I know if the next day service will get the package there tomorrow (11/10) or whether UPS means that it will deliver it on Friday, 11/11? I don't want to make my mom or dad stay at the house tomorrow if the package isn't coming until Friday. Does anyone know what the cut-off time is for a next day package to be given to UPS so that it really does deliver the next day (Thursday in my case)? Thanks for anyone who knows and can share.

Track it again later this evening Richard. You should get an origin scan with a location. My feeling is that it will be delivered tomorrow and if you live close to a major metro area the package should be delivered by 10:30 AM.

Based what I'm reading on another forum you're getting very close. Over there they are tracking a pattern of shipping by time ordered. One person just said his 1:00 order just got the shipped status. So according to them, only those who got through in the first hour have been or are now being shipped. Maybe the next hour will be completed by tomorrow. Mine was a little before 3:30 so that puts me into Monday if they don't work weekends.

 

Looks as if mine has already shipped. Should be here by Friday.

 

Ken, do you remember when UPS first started NDA? Back then they treated each and every NDA package like it was the most important thing in the world. If one of my drivers was late getting in at night and had a NDA, we would make a special run to OKC, and would even buy a seat on the plane if we had to in order to make service, and that's a fact. Do you still have your NDA coffee cup they gave out?...The one whan when you put hot coffee in it and the truck disappeard and the jet plane appeared?

Anyway, they just don't seem to care about making service like they used to. Back then, people didn't have to ask if their NDA package would be delivered....they KNEW it would be delivered. If it didn't make it, you knew that somebody must have died. Oh, the good old days, lol.
