This is a 40% return in just a few days. How much money do you think is acceptable, or you won't sell?

My cost is no relevant...The 2011 RP is "worth" at least $420 and probably closer to $800 all by itself. The "only" S mint mark ASE is in this set which should probably sell for $500.

I believe that a "fair price" and what Heritage will probably sell these sets for is $1900- $2000 each.

I'd sell all my for 800 a piece plus shipping.

You can't really believe 420 is a fair price, how many people here would gladly pay 420 for 5 more sets of these.....I know I would

I understand Fatima's point of view. any profit is better than no profit and holding out can sometimes be bad business. but I would hope these sets would sell for no less than $600.

I'm not selling mine but I guess it would be smart to sell one now to cover cost then see what the value does on these.

Stopped off at a local dealers saturday, how have you been? I have been fine, are you going to have any of the 25th anniversary silver eagle sets, you ordered 5? How much are you selling them for? you are not selling them? excuse me, I must be in the wrong place, I thought this was a coin shop. Haha.

Two other local dealers I spoke to did not get an order in. I have three more to check out and see if they ordered. I think some dealers are going to wait to see where the price is going before they start naming a price.

Only because you think you can sell it to the next sucker down the road for more. When the suckers run out, the ones with the coins get burnt. Your advantage at the moment is you have the goods (coins) so you get to decide to when to get out. Your disadvantage at the moment is that you have the goods (coins) and you have to move at some point if you hope to make anything.

IMO, when the real collectors show up, this set isn't going to be worth the 40% offered now. Real coin collectors, for the most part, don't have to have one instantly like coin flippers.

I called my local dealer and asked if they plan on carrying any sets he said they are still shopping around on the secondary market.

Ahh, I must have hit a nerve because you decided to make it about me instead of sticking to the subject. Read back through my post history. You will find that I didn't miss out. I didn't even have a hard time placing an order.

So you think that the 5 coin, 2 unique coin, 100,000 mintage 2011 set will settle at or sightly less than the 3 coin, 1 unique coin, 250,000 mintage 2006 set? I'm genuinely curious how you arrive at that conclusion.

Yes. IMO, the only coin in the set that garners a lot of interest is the reverse proof just like the 2006 set. There will be a much smaller group that will want the other unique coin. The rest...? Bullion price.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Mine is based on the Market Value, established by the Real Collectors over several years, of previous low mintage ASE's.
    PR69 1995W = $3000 @ 30K mintage
    PR69 2006 RP= $260 @ 250K mintage

My estimate of the above two coins @100K mintage
    is:
    1995 W @100K = $1000 - 20% = $800
    2006 RP @100K = $650 -20% = $525
The other three coins @ current Market = $145
Total cost plus 10% for full set in box= $1615 current market value

PF69 will probably be the norm. If either the RP or S are PF70 then they will sell for several time my estimates.

If I don't get want I want out of these sets I will sit on them until I do.I paid cash for these as an investment so I can hold on to them for 5-10 years if need be .
