If they use FedEx (lucky if so), you can have things dropped at a local FedEx Store for pickup. Some of us work...and this is a great benefit over UPS. Also, FedEx delivers Tuesday-Saturday, so that's also quite nice.

Just wondering how many ordered more than one in separate orders? With the problems ordering, most were probably ordered in groups.

Who else has checked their order number status so many times that they know it better than their social security number?

Ditto, Luke. I have it memorized. I thought I was the only one going crazy checking my order status constantly:) the number is imprinted into my mind

From the mint website, not overnight

What that means is, the mint will put it on the truck within two or three days.
You will get your package the day after it goes on the truck.

Instead of quickly skimming, take the time to read, and understand, EVERY word.

They do? Been a few years since I donned a brown uniform but they never used to do that. I think the max "future date" was two/three weeks and the customer was never charged a thing. This was always done as a courtesy. Business's would shut down for weeks during the summer and the packages would always be held for future delivery at no extra charge.

How about leaving a note for the driver to try and deliver the package to a next door neighbor? Many of my customers would make such requests from me. Also, you could call and make arrangements for the package to be delivered to an alternate address. Or maybe things have changed drastically since I last drove for them......

As one poster pointed out on one of the other threads, expedited doesn't necessarily mean overnight. Can anyone speak from experience: what speed is the expedited shipping for orders over $300.00?

It's always been overnight for me.

Does this order qualify for the expedited shipping? It says that the shipping will be upgraded on purchases over $300, not including shipping, but technically this was $299.95, so what are your opinions, will the mint be nice and upgrade us or be technical and make us chomp at the bit for three days?
