2011 ASE 25th Anniversary Set (A25) - Order thread

In process means that the mint has checked your credit references and found you can afford the amount of sets ordered. They are then downloading the info to shipping where the sets are being packaged and contact is being made to UPS. It means that all is well. The next message will contain tracking code. If there weren't enough sets to fill your order, you'd be getting a much more negative message. Of course, nothing is ever for sure. Don't completely relax until sets are in hand. Even a tracking number guarantees nothing. There are crooked postmen if you want to feel paranoid.

These sets will more than likely be shipped UPS/FDX next day/overnight and will require a signature. Make sure you guys are home on delivery day as the package will not be left at your door.

 

Thanks, good reason to keep up to date on US Mint site. Once you get tracking code, it is easy to follow. Mint might even provide tracking code when they send the shipped email. I know USPS, UPS provides service to notify up to date location via email messages, not sure about FedEx. Hope they don't use that lousy FedEx/USPS Smart Delivery where a USPS tracking number is provided but FedEx carries package to a hand off site. I really doubt that it would be their preferred method though. I've never encountered it except when using Amazon.

 

I purchased a few Presidential Proof Sets with my ASE Sets , they shipped them sepately. UPS tried to deliver yesterday but I was not home. Lucky for me I was off today had to sign for them. I asked the driver if I could have signed the notice left the day before he told me no he could only deliver it with a signature in person. I've never had to sign for things from the Mint in the past.

 

I got my order in at 3:03 PM EST and also got 3835xxxx and I was using 2 computers and the phone to try to get through. I later placed an order at 6:27 PM EST for a friend and got 3839xxxx.

This morning the status for the 3835xxx order changed to "In process" with an 11/17 ship date.
This afternoon the status for the 3839xxx order changed to "In process" with an 11/17 ship date.

I didn't think the 3839xxxx order had a chance, but maybe my friend will get lucky. I was trying continuously for almost 6 1/2 hrs to get both those orders in. I'm glad no other friend asked me to order for them. It was extremely frustrating.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed until I have them in my hands!

 

No, they won't employ that method. It'll be either FDX or UPS all the way.

The order date is blank in my order status. The 5:02PM time stamp is on the email confirming my order from the Mint.

 

I am begining to come to the conclusion that I am screwed, no ASE set for me.

 

why would you say that if it is still in process i am not giving up hope on mine what is ur #after7

 

If my order was going to be filled it should have moved beyond "In Process" by now.

Give it more time Jim. The Mint has cancelled a host o' bad orders so you may still be in the running. Hang in there.....

 

My number is 3840xxxx (7:15pm). Still in process. This was the first day that the expected ship date did not move (Nov 22).

 

You can be in process and still have the in stock and reserved status. That's what my order says. Stop trying to make me nervous

 

Anyone get a tracking # plus an email confirmation from the mint saying it shipped yet when you check with UPS, it comes as not a valid track #??
