PLaced 1 order with many refreshes online.
Got 2 different order numbers.
Exactly 1400 order numbers (orig. 400) apart

Hopefully I"ll get 10 sets!

 

I got mine in at 12:20 and had confirmation number 38327xxx, which was 3,000 after goldmember. Many people are buying multiple sets. I'm thinking that 30,000 are already gone in the first 45 minutes.

 

Yeah Mike I just did the same thing, page is still not working but I've got a confirmation email so i'll assume I got my additional 5 sets

So according to my records the first CT member with an order was avr5700 Order # 38324### placed at 12:01

I just got my confirmation number 38330xxx

With rough estimates that is about 6,350 orders placed in 36 minutes is roughly 176 orders per minute which is about what the Mints website can handle if I recall correctly. I wonder how long it will keep up for??

 

I've got 5 sets in my cart. That's as far as I've been able to get so far. That was logging in from scratch. I can't get back in.

 

so does every ones order say back order? and i wanted to have shipped in separate boxes but didnt want to keep attemping to get 1 set at a time can i edit after the fact or will that change my order?

 

I am pretty sure the LAST 5 numbers are order sequence folks.
I ordered something last week and the first 3 numbers were 383.
Checking back on past orders, if I made multiple orders in the same month, the 1st 3 numbers were the same.

 

I was logged in and then tried to order and it timed out. finally got on the sit and ow i have to log in again because it was more than a half hour. Still waiting for the log in page to load

 

My status is "Backordered, expected to ship 11/10"

 

Just looked at my order status and it says I ordered them at 12:03 "AM". I remember this from years ago. I wonder why they don't ever fix their clock?

 

I feel sorry for anyone who's already not processed payment.
What a debacle, and stressed the heck out.
I feel like I need a stiff drink.

 

Just a quick note for those still trying to order....

I used Quick Checkout and I got all the way to The Place Order Button, I clicked it, and it locked up. I tried refreshing and it just sent me back a couple pages. I then looked under my Order Status in my Account and it showed my order. So I never really got to the Order Confirmation Page. But it still took my order.

If you get that far, be sure to check your Order Status and Email.

 

It could be worse – I placed an online order with the Canadian Mint on 6 October…today’s order status (27 October): “processing”

 

so since these orders are on hold, backorder, whatever they want to call it, does that mean our CC's won't be charged until shipping (around 11/10)?

 

Finally completed order at 12:54 EST. Order #38333XXX. Assuming the order number in incremented by one, somewhere between 9,000 (everybody buying just one) and 45,000 (everybody buying 5) have been ordered in the first hour.,

 

so frustrating! I can't get through!

 

Over an hour, phones busy, and website will not let me order.

Great first experience ordering from the mint.

 

Well, it took 61 min 35 computer freezes and 173 repeat calls but I got thru and got it ordered! I got mine ( doin the happy dance)
