Rob, I 'LIKED' your post not because of the content but because of the update and apparent turning around for the Quartermaster family. May they continue to improve and get things back together. Most importantly healthwise.
Not much for praying, but The Quartermaster has my best wishes for his, and his family's future health.
I received my newest letter the other day as well. Here's wishing the QuarterMaster a healthy and mishap free New Year!
HHhmmmmm..... The one he sent me is an Alabama state quarter with a counter-stamp of "Wiggly-Fang"..... And I am rotten at figuring out these sorts of things.

CLOSED] Quarter Notes Giveaway #7 (counterstamped quarters) it states closed for replies but still can read the thread.
You’re looking at an old giveaway there. If you go to the Contests forum, you’ll see a more recent, active Quarter Notes giveaway. As of this message, Quarter Notes Giveaway #11 is still active (a random drawing will take place on or shortly after Christmas). Here you go. I also have two other giveaways (LordM Giveaway #79 and LordM Giveaway #80) active as of this posting. Go look on the Contests forum or see the link in my signature line.
Thank you so much. Paddy had posted what is Quarter Notes? So I guess that well, he did not know. Thank you so much though. I appreciate it.
He did not know at the time he first posted this thread over two years ago, but he definitely does now! (Edit: well, as much as anybody does about the Quarter Master, anyway, who remains something of a mystery.)
I guess that’s why he did not reply to a comment I made about scams etc. I admit. Sorry about that. I guess when people still post on that same thread and I’m no where near experienced as some of y’all. Thanks again for responding.
You just have to pay attention to the timeline (the date stamps below the posts) in some of these longer threads, is all. Sometimes the first page can be years earlier than the last (current) page that's being replied to!
Dear Mr. QuarterMaster, Having lived through Andrew back in 1992, I feel your pain . . . I was a much younger man back then. Praying for your recovery to go smoothly. Thanks much for your most recent brain tease. This installment didn't tax my gray matter too much, which is greatly appreciated these days. I also noticed that this one is related to other counterstamped coins that I have acquired an posted recently. I hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas. Thank you again! Z
to elaborate further: "Tuskaloosa" (died 1540) was a paramount chief of a Mississippian chiefdom in what is now the U.S. state of Alabama, ancestor tribe of the Choktaw and Creek tribes. Also who the City Tuscaloosa is named after. Could really be either the city or the Chief. all I got. happy New Year everyone!
