That is an excellent price for an Silver Eagle because those are usually selling for between $4-$6 over spot in my local area.

I don't think pensions are their problem. Their problem is they have a no layoff clause in their union contract. This is what they want to change but the Congress has not authorized it. In any case, it's the Congress who will have to vote to fix these issues as it is the US Congress, as defined in Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution that has the only power to create a post office. This means a huge amount of national politics comes into play. i.e. The postal service isn't just a regular business that can operate by standard business methods.

Thanks, I got one also. It was about a dollar over spot at $32.04, but it was close enough for me.

Couldn't help it, grabbed the gold as well. Let's see how things go, I asked for current year coins to see if they really read and pay attention to customers.

    whats the maximum quantity?

Edit: says one per household yet it lets you change quantity. stupid.
If they want to limit you this way i wouldn't doubt they are trying to collect as much marketing info as possible to go sell. That information is going to more than make up for the premium over spot they could have charged.

I just went thru the process. They're adding $2.75 for tax, so the total cost to place the order as of now is $31.04 + $2.75 = $33.79

You are probably a resident of their state.

    Can they tax bullion?

It varies by state. In Texas, they tax bullion sales up to $1,000. No tax above that amount.

I did the ASE offer in August (obviously it cost more back then). It's completely legit and they never called, emailed, or bothered me afterward. I'm going to try the gold offer now.

Ive been reading a lot of posts about this so I just bought the silver at 29.63 and finally decided to buy my first gold piece ever. I got the gold 1/10oz at 160.45. I like the feeling now that I finally own a piece of gold ")

Congratulations on the purchase Sir, it's addicting ;) Welcome to CT, by the way!

Glad everyone's been able to snag a good deal with this. I myself waited until today for it; I wanted it under $30. It's hard to balance my coin collecting side with my bullion speculating side. As much as I'd love for silver to hit $50 and make a nice return on recent purchases, half of me also wants it to keep going down, so I can get a nice peace/morgan collection started for a more reasonable price.

US Coins/Eastern Numismatitcs = Asian Dating site? Nicosia, Cyprus?

Its been 5 days and my bank still shows the card charge as 'pending'
I going to call and ask for a ship date. I have one other little thing I want to ask them about as well.

This makes the first and only time I have used this credit card online in 6 months.
The same day and hour USCoins charge hit my bank, a charge of $15.99 hit as well.
Its from Www.AsianBeauties.Com in Nicosia, Cyprus. Im not much for long distance internet dating,
whatever the **** that might be be and I sure as **** would not whip out my credit card in such a place (or anything else)

So... as my bank prepares to cancel all my accounts and I get to go thru account changes like you would with lost or stolen cards, I advise anyone who gave USCoins their credit card to look for a odd charges on that card. Obviously I cant directly blame USCoin, that wouldnt be fair but the coincident is just to great. It has to be related. Perhaps USCoins has been hacked?
