Would have made a purchase as I`d like to add an ASE to my collection, but it seems they do not ship outside US.

Thanks for the link - I couldn't resist. I hope it's legit. Now I just need to find more friends to order more for me... ;)

Its legit. Although it does take 3-4 days for them to hit your card. You will get the ASE about 4 days after that.

The postal service does not get tax money. Interestingly enough, the USPS has only existed since 1971, the same year the $ was made fiat, when the service was made an independent agency. Prior to '71, it was the United States Post Offic, a direct department of the government and was funded through the general fund. I've noticed that people often don't have very many kind things to say about the USPS, but when talk of taking it away happens, everyone doesn't want this to happen.

They are between a rock and a hard place. They have to be self funded, but Congress has to approve any changes that allows them to become more efficient. Personally I think they should be allowed to directly sell all the US Mint's bullion and collector's coin products. They ought to be allowed to buy them back too. This would threaten the US Treasury/Federal Reserve ponzi however so it will never happen.

  15. I hear what you are saying. It reminds me of the old adage: "If it sound too good to be true, it probably is." I have known of this offer for a while. It looks like a legit company, and some have reported actually receiving the ASE with no funny business. However, I am guessing that some onslaught of phone calls, mailings, coins on approval, etc. will soon follow. Of course you can always turn these additional things down. I went for a silver offer over the summer from another company, and have received daily emails and weekly mailings from them ever since that time. Now I can delete these emails and recycle the mailings but it still takes some effort to do so. These companies that utilize this classic "foot in door" marketing technique are not stupid and are not going to lose money. I really hope they do not sell our personal info. TC

Ya wanna make the USPS more profitable? Achieve a modicum of profitability? Get rid of "parcel post' Out source that sucker to UPS and FDX totally. Stick with "letters" and "first class" postage and profitability wouldn't be an issue. They'd make a bundle.......

Don't know if this promo is to get more people to buy from them, but first thing I thought of is that maybe they see the price of silver plummeting, and they want to get as much off their hands at a higher price....

But I could be wrong. Don't see how I or others can "predict" the future of silver.

Don't see how you read federal bailout into that but I'm sure that will be coming sooner or later to help pay their pensions
