5 oz. Grand Canyon ATB. Opinions?

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Now that the ordering limits on 5oz. Grand Canyon ATB have been lifted, I'm thinking of buying ten of them on the off chance that I might get one or two with the light satin finish, and to hold until demand (possibly) grows again.
    How do others feel? Thanks.

I just ordered 3 more GC's since all of the ATB 5oz. from the mint orders have been selling on eBay for $50 to $100 over the issue price. Remember, only 27,000 of each different one minted!

Not worth it now. A light finish 66 sold for little more than cost, plus grading and shipping fees, plus ebay fees. I think the only ones with a chance of being worthwhile are those with NO vapor finish at all, proof looking. Light finishes not so much.

I loved my coin once I got it from UPS. I really like this hockey puck program.

I'm happy to report that the exchange I received on the Grand Canyon is the light finish. I knew it looked different when I first got it, but didn't know it was an officially recognized variety until seeing this thread.

The original coin I received was badly marred on the obverse,...it was worth the return and the three and a half week wait!

Very nice... I'm thinking of getting at least one, any thoughts on which would be best as far as overall looks and such?
