First fidelity Reserve is a sister company from Universal Coin and Bullion. I have ordered some of their magazine "limit 1 per house" offers from them before and have recieved ASE's in great condition, and promptly. At the time, the best deal was an ASE for $30.50 (free shipping), when spot POS was around $41.00. These offers are found in magazines and a new offer has just appeared. So without further adieu, here is the deal.

    First Fidelity Reserve

    2011 $5.00 Gold American Eagle 1/10th 157.00 (limit 1)
    2011 Silver American Eagle 39.00 (limit 2)

    Free shipping and handling.

currently thats a $2.50 premium over melt on the AGE, which comes out to $25.00 premium per ounce

you do realize 1/10 oz AGE's have a huge premium on them...$2.50 is nothing...

I don't doub't it. It isn't worth buying this just for that obviously, but its def a great deal, especially if prices go up. I'm not sure when the expiration is but its usually on the 15th of the month after the add.

I'd be interested about the quality of these coins from anyone who has purchased one. I've gotten 2 silver coins from Universal Coin and Bullion, a timberwolf and a grizzly. One is in excellent condition, and the other has a few milk spots, both in a hard case.

The lack of premium on this one makes it appealing for sure.

I've gotten 8 ASE's (from a combination of all 3 or 4 "sister companies" all in great condition in airtite holders. 1 or 2 had a small nick on it (barely noticeable). I also got 3 grizzlys and 2 wolfs. 2 of the grizzlys had a little milk spotting, seems to be more common on the Maple leafs. Id say 5 or 6 out of 8 of the ASE's were in practically perfect condition (to my eyes). 1 had a very small, barely noticeable milk spot, and 2 had very small imperfections/nicks.

The milk spotting is much less common on the ASE's and I would say the odds are very good that your coin will be in excellent condition.

I placed two orders with them - one for a Timberwolf, one for an ASE. I never received the ASE, and the Timberwolf is covered in milk. Pretty common with the Canadian silver from what I've heard, so I'm not too upset about it. Don't know why I never got the ASE, but after the recent change in silver price that doesn't upset me too much either ;)

I've gotten two 1/10oz AGEs, 2 canadian grizzly, one timberwolf, and 3 or 4 ASEs and all but one had imperfections. One of the canadian coins had some milk spots, but you can't complain when you are paying $10 under spot.
