Anybody on here buying these? I see a lot of posts about the P mintmarks of 2010 but not much mention of them. I'm in and have them all and am awaiting shipment of Glacier.
Nice to have, but I believe most are collecting the 2010s uncirculated and circulated due to the mintage and rarity compared to the 2011s. I didn't buy any of the 2011s because I've stacked plenty of ASEs but if I didn't I would prolly get more of the 5 oz since premiums are cheaper if you do the math after buying a set amount of ozs. One question I have about the 5 ozs is what kind of premium are we looking at when we decide to sale, that's a turn off for me.
That's a good question. Nobody knows for sure, but I'm not going to be the first to find out, I hope. I did notice that many are still all over the 10's, but it seems as if the price is starting to come down on those now. We'll all see what happens, but for now I'm staying off the Ps, just a bit rich for my blood.
The two "P" collector’s version ATB 5 ounce coins have both sold out within 15 days of their initial release from the mint. Raw secondary market (eBay) auction prices for these same coins are in the $350 to $380 range…a 20% - 25% premium over the mint’s $280 retail price ($56/oz). And with a mintage of just 27,000 each, they seem like a winner to me - but that might change, considering the number of different coins the mint plans to release - ten "P" models this year!
