My APMEX set arrived today.
Probably couldn't have expected any better.
I've been watching the posts, and they seem to be getting nicer as time goes on.
I never dreamed I'd get three 69s. I was worried they might not even all be slabbed.

That is amazing. Since there are no reported MS70's, you have the best of all possible with those MS69's. Are you an investor or collector? Or if said differently, do you plan to sell or hold?

Thanks. I think I'll keep them. Considering what we have been able to acquire these for from APs, I think the 2010s are about the safest form of investing in physical silver. Prices have fallen, but I feel very positive holding these long-term. Since I live in Oklahoma, Apmex charged me tax, but considering how lucky I was to get these, glad I bought from APMEX.

I think the APMEX sets are getting nicer, and I'm anxious to see what everyone gets in the coming weeks from them.

Apmex

I just received my set from Apmex also. They were all graded MS69dmpl except for the Hot Springs and it was MS69. All state First Strike. WOW

 

My DG box had a copy of the PDF receipt they had previously emailed...so yeah, there's personal content in there. Also the DG coins seemed to be in good shape in my case. Slip cases, but I like that better than the bubble envelopes that I recall Jack Hunt using or was that Fidelitrade? Either way, thumbs down on over-sized bubble mailers!

 

Four 69 DMPL's ? That's just crazzzzzy! congrats

 

My goodness! I sure hope this upward trend continues as mine are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow...

I've been reading on other threads that long time customers of APMEX are getting the better coins and new customers are getting the lower grades. Are you a long timer or a short timer with Apmex?

Does anyone else have any input on this?

 

Ticking, would you mind looking to see if you have the letter "A", "B", or "C" written on the outside of your box? Also, have you ordered from Apmex before?

 

Not to be the grumpy guss but that is f-ing BS. So those who ordered first got all the garbage. Of all the sets I recieved only 1 was graded and it was just a "BU" set.

Guess it is good to hear that they are not keeping them for themselves though. But I'm still ****ed.

I love the note from APMEX in the box, We sent these to you in this nice box so if you sell them they will protected and BTW please sell them back to us.

I had a B on the outer box. I have had the account with them for a few years but never bought anything from them.

I've had an account with Apmex for about a year, and made 2 small purchases from them. I have to pay tax with them because I live in Oklahoma, so normally I make my PM purchases from one of three other dealers.

Mine was a "C" box. I've had an account opened with them for a while, but this was my first purchase. I received 2 MS69 and 3 MS68DMPL.

I have nothing in the way of lettering on the outer carton or inner box. And I have nothing in the way of numerical grading either, just BU. I am/was a short term customer. Are they still doing the buy backs?
