How Fast Will The Mint Be Today?

Man, the site is flying compared to earlier. Does anyone know approx. where the order # started at?

These things could be gone pretty quickly, if the Mint's site hangs in there.

 

I'm hopeful it's gonna be a good one!...Its under $8 an oz over spot I figured what the heck it can't be a total loser!

 

I just logged in and ordered without any problems.

I was on the site a little before noon. I was logged in and already had a few other items in my cart by the time they were up for sale. Numerous delays, lags, etc. Wasn't until 12:20 that I was able to get the ATB in my cart and still had issues. I thought I was golden when I got to the credit card part but still wouldn't go through. I was about to give up when I tried one last time and got through. It was approx. 12:49 went it finally went through. Took another 4 min. before I got the confirmation email. Should be good to go!

 

You mean, of course, EDT.

 

I got an order through at about 12:40 pm est. I began at 12:00 noon est.

 

Yall are really tempting me to order one of these things. I still have the memory of the BSA and Disabled vets commems. in my mind. What are those things sellign for? Didnt they sell out as well?

 

Probably very close/if not already a sell out. My order went through at 12:08 EST and my girlfriend ordered at 4:01 EST. The difference in our order numbers is 23,456

 

Nobody should feel pressured to buy any of this stuff simply because the rest of the pack is doing it.

I see (on other sites) newbies going "all in" with their retirement money, etc., and it just makes me cringe.

If you don't buy one of these, no big deal. There will always be another opportunity to buy something else in this market. Always.

 

Update I bought one. It says "Backordered" Is that is what everyones order says right now?

I locked in three today. Looks like a sellout based on the order numbers I've seen.

 

I don't know why it bugs me, but for everyone putting "EST," the proper term is "EDT"

We are on Daylight time now, not standard (except Arizona which stays on Standard). So, in the winter months it is EST, but now, it is EDT or Eastern Daylight Time.

Just another tidbit of information you didn't really want to know, but do now.....

 

Be careful with "locked in" as the US Mint website states that a "wait list" will be created and that they may not provide a timely indication as to when it starts. This is bringing back memories of the first bullion orders....could there be presale auctions on ebay completed with "locked in" orders that end up on the "wait list"???????????????

 

I ordered mine at 5:40 PM EST. It was quick but it says that it is backordered. I guess that I'm you know what.

 

I ordered mine at 12:08 EDT and it was listed as "Back Ordered" too. I'm pretty sure they all were since the Mint won't ship these until May 12th.

Did you get in under the 27k mark...that's the 64k question. My girlfriend ordered 4hrs after me and her order number was 23k+ higher than mine

Doesn't the Mint have a way of checking?
Do you have multiple accounts, multiple addresses, and multiple credit card that you use to get THREE?
