This one. Paid bid, it would cost me 100$ more now. (I've posted this one before)

Yeah, they are pricey. Mine wasn't a 400k coins, but it was above 6 figures.

I always wondered if I could have put up with her in exchange for an Eide Mar denarius.......

I bought a 1992 proof set for $25. I get most of my coins from circulation and don't buy much

I think this would be the one I paid the most for. About $65.:

Thanks Rip. My dealer also had one in a couple of grades higher but the price was 5X this one.

I also have an 1854 Half Penny:

I'm new so don't laugh! I today purchased a 1988 Standing Liberty Eagle MS-69 graded by NGC. (Question, is that a walker? I keep hearing that word not knowing what it is.) Bought for $48.20. Okay now you can laugh!

I bought a raw MS62ish 1912 $10 Indian gold coin for $700 a couple weeks ago from a dealer that doesn't deal in US gold. Sold it for $880, and will spend the $180 I made on some coins for my type set!

What you have is an American Eagle.

A "Walker" refers to a Half dollar:

VF-25 is a decent "starter" 1893-S Morgan. The problem with that coin in that grade is the price is all over the map.

PS - you did not see MY coin at your local shop. You saw a doppleganger! HAHA! ;)
