what idiot started this stupid thread ... could they be any more WRONG on the 2011 high for Silver?

    $24??? Give me a break.

And we reward their poor insight by keeping this thread going ?

    Try "2011 Silver High $50"

Wow... Take it easy. It was someone's prediction. And it seems there has been enough interest generated to keep the discussion going. I myself find it interesting to see if predictions work out.

Calm down. You've barely even been active in this thread. It wasn't until the recent run up that you FINALLY came over to the discussion in this thread, despite having been pointed to it in the past, when I posted to your visitor page on 11/09/2010. Someone already started a new thread today so go make use of it: "2011 Silver High $50" The sky is the limit The 'gold bug' who started this thread has since abandoned the thread, since late last year, and seems to have entirely left CT since then too. This thread has over time become a diverse meeting place of discussions beyond what it's title set out to make note of and it's no more "idiotic" than were the pleathora of individual new threads you used to shake your PM pop-poms with on a day-by-day basis back when silver was crossing $25, crossing $26...

I wouldnt mind so much except that silver was already trading over $30 an ounce on 1/1/2011.
Even if you think the price of silver falls straight down from $30 ... the 2011 high would still have been $30.

Only an idiot would predict the 2011 high would be $24 when you start at $30 for the year.

His prediction was made well back into 2010 if you look at the first post

Again, calm down. You are new to this thread. If you had read the PM threads by this so called "idiot", then you would have noticed that there has been plenty of healthy doubt about her predictions over time. You're way way to late to the game here to be calling people idiots about their predictions.

This thread is a continuation of an older thread that took forever for silver and gold to meet.....

Predictions are predictions, you can't really say it's idiotic. All the analysis in the world and you can still be wrong....

It really doesn't matter anymore than does your own or your little rant here today. Fly away now before a house falls on you.

Its a shame so many will lose much of their paper gains by refusing to admit that things go up and things go down. I remember when "experts" predicted oil would never be under $150 again. It is fun when your profit on paper go up, but killing when they go down. The pros love to hear unbacked predictions and exuberance on TV and internet, it makes their fleecing so much easier. IMO. No offense intended.

I would like to add that HER prediction for silver WAS modified to 32 I think, a while back. And watch out for flying monkeys, too! Wow!

as was stated by Desert Gem this thread started when silver was UNDER $20... so should said OP not have posted back then? or consulted you about what would be a good guess? you know without the "idiot" part being a part of it?

someone needs to learn to read dates and what prices were back then... I bet you'd also say anyone that made a prediction back in 1985 that silver might hit $5/oz in the net 15 years is an idiot cause of course it's going to go higher in those 15 years...

on another note can you make a prediction? and if you wrong allow us to bash you like you seem to think the OP needs...

If one were to tell me 9 months ago that silver would go from $17-$34 I'd question it since
