A-Mar k appear to have processed residential addressed orders ahead of PO Box orders initially, however, some of the delay in orders from the APs like A-Mark and FT appear to be due in part to the APs investigating addresses to flag anyone attempting to order more than 1/HH per the Mint's directive. That is not to say that you or others actually tried to order more than one from any one AP, but that their own process may have created a delay in some orders while they processed data in their AtB customer base. As you seem to be reading the other forums, I am sure you are also noting that others are receiving their packages 1-3 days ahead of FedEx delivery estimates as well. The past weeks weather and any future weather conditions may also impact delivery estimates given by the carriers. Those are the factors I feel are the most likely for delays of confirmed orders.
That is impossible to do anything with but speculate endlessly and without reasonable factors as the vast majority of the program lies years ahead of us with unknown changes that could come in any year for the next dozen years that the coins will be rolling out.
I see. Saw the same thing at CU and CCF and wondered what the heck was going on. My 5 pieces arrived at PCGS about 12 hours ago. I hope to get 3 69 grades. I'll be in touch.
Menoxo, I really enjoyed your "unboxing video". I think it will be a while before I get mine, but your video has raised my anticipation level.
And the winner is : http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-America-Be...333?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb4e1370d
park qtrs, is that a reasonable price for that or do you think the seller has gone overboard? because i dont know anything about these 5 oz pieces
Asking $15K for the set is a bit high I think - more and more of these will start showing up and then the moment an MS70 is crowned this set will be worth about $3K. If no 70's show up I feel this set should be worth $7-10K max and even that is a stretch.
I think getting a pcgs set with these grades will be difficult to accomplish based on that price.I wonder how many sets he had to go threw to get all five in a 69 grade ?
I believe a 70 will show up at show point. There may never be a full set of 70s, but at least one piece getting a 70 is likely.
Mark That 15k price tag could also mean that the guy doesnt care if he sells them or not because he likes them that much !
Got my coins this past week. Very happy with them despite minor flaws that would prohibit an MS69 or 70 grading
MTB has the 5 oz ATB sets for sale this afternoon, I was told they had several sets available!!! credit cards not accepted, you must send payment via mail. You will need to call 1-800-535-7481. Total is $930.00
I received an email from A-mark today stating my coins have shipped. The order number is 308*. It appears as though they are moving through the orders pretty quickly. It's only been about 10 days for me.
