Well, I did it again. I left a Quarter Notes envelope on my desk, unopened, in a pile of mail. Who knows how long it lay there. (To be fair, it is actually not the only mail containing a coin that got shunted aside while I was on mental hiatus from the hobby.) Anyhoo, the Quarter Master is his usual generous self. There was a cute little Christmas card with a quarter inside (2008-P Oklahoma, “CAINT SAY NO” stamp). Plus a Ulysses. Moral of the story: if you get mail from Quarter Notes, Ltd., OPEN IT! Thank you, kind Quarter Master, whoever you are.
I understood approximately 15-20% of the enclosed letter. The missive in the last paragraph was clear enough, though, and I shall do my best to abide by it. (PS- there was a picture of Einstein on the outer envelope.)

A few things... My Father is a PHD physical chemistry research scientist who's written entries for World Book Encyclopedia, remember those? (I'd bet the QuarterMaster does). I was born on the cusp of Saggitarius around midnight, I feel like this some how matters. I'm showing my Dad this letter, I genuinely want to know if he can desipher it...he's a guy who finishes NY Times puzzles and crushes Mensa tests. If I desipher more of it, or my Papa does lol, thhheeeeennnn can I get on the QuarterMaster's list?!
