Man oh man ... another 70 cents an ounce tacked on ovenight monday evening to tuesday morning. So silver is up $5.48 an ounce (over 20%) in a week. I would call that a meteoric rise.

Yes. When it runs this quickly the money is in a panic mode. No one wants to hold currency. Especially on the news that the US is planning on buying back over 6 billion in high interest notes. That move should cause interest rates to fall and also spark an inflationary trend ?

I am selling a bit more later this week simply because I believe the price is far greater than the cost of production and eventually will fall to levels I can replenish my stock.

i really do think silver has it's eyes on $30 an ounce ...

but would it surprise me if silver had a down $2 day ... no ...
but even down $2 from here would only take it down to $26.46

Really? Do you? It's a breeze to claim such when prices are this close in range to your 'speculative' price level, but why stop there and why wait until this time to let us know this nominal rise (from $28+ to $30) is within range? Will you be back with an new thread/posts announcing silver passed $30 and has its eyes on $32... $40... $50... probably, but can you effectively take advantage of this or just shake your pom poms as it moves up?

i think you need an anti-depressant (or an anger managment class)

seriously, you should change your "My Mood" setting to "spewing fireballs" or something

this is just a stupid bulletin board ... not the new york times or the bible ... relax a little bit ... you'd be a lot happier.

I highly doubt you're qualified to dispense such advice nor in any position to qualify your reasoning, other than feeling defensive for being challenged on your posts.

He does have a point about starting a new thread... do you plan on starting one every +.50 now?

Guys, everyone is interested when it gets this bullish, and we all have opinions. I don't like to see arguments, but Krispy has a valid point about this being a duplicate of an on-going thread.

Putting that aside, I wish I was home so I could sell a little more this week. I think I can sell a small amount each week and have enough to make it through the end of the year ? But at this point, maybe it's time to take an inventory just to be sure. Of course, I won't list any if the price drops for the profit taking.

How about you guys ? Selling or holding ?

I could do some of both, but I think PMs have further to go, even in the remainder of this year.

Thanks camlov2. Yes, I'm admittedly guilty of such bluntness as it seems to come across to some.

Thanks also for illustrating the point of these numerous threads operating the same way with the list of links you dug up.

Guys, I just hit a 13-0 NFL entry on a contest ticket here in Vegas. The payout looks like it's enough to keep me from selling anything throughout the rest of the year. I enjoy participating in selling and buying, and trying to profit, but will likely sit it out now for a few months ?

Hoping I can nail one more week before the season ends.

I don't know exactly what that means but from the tone of your post, I think congratulations are in order... Congrats! Sounds like a sweet windfall!
