Hi all I came across 5- 2010 American Eagle silver dollars (hologram), Can someone help me on what they are worth. I was thinking that about spot and no more then that. Here is a few pictures, please note pictures didn't come out to great.Sorry on picture size.Learning as I go. I did list these on ebay at 150.00 starting price, reason selling as have no need for them.Also listing 3 other American Silver dollars so all in all there are 8 coin's. Carl
$150? Hah! No (honest) chance. Spot + $1-$2 (maybe over) Provident Metals (online bullion dealer) is currently selling off-quality ASEs for $25.06 [spot Ask price from Kitco.com is $23.17/oz at this time]
Perhaps he meant $150 for all five, which is still a bit high. But you never know, somebody might bite. There's people like these colorful but damaged baubles.:rollling:
Hi I meant all 8 American Eagles for 150.00, if spot lets say at 23.00 then that would be about 184.00 for 8 eagles.So what I meant was 8 coins for starting at 150.00
Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying that. Despite the *applique* they might sell right around or a touch over spot... but you'll bite it on hefty eBay and PayPal fees plus the shipping costs (unless charging s/h separately.) A lot of bullion auctions seem to finish close to or just a touch over spot. Good luck to you.
