i been told this is not an acid job due too the high and low points of the coin,i just want any ideas of possibilities without the acid one ,,thanks

lots of things will cause corrosion to form on copper and it eats the copper away the same as acid would. this is what some copper coins looks like when found with a metal detector and the corrosion removed from the coins.
