yes paddy and we introduced the world greatest game--CRICKET--they still play it today-perhaps the biggest achievement of the empire was cricket,changed the nations that play it(I will not mention Australia,this summer )

OK - I can't compete with gold coins like the above. Una and the Lion in particular is a mind-bogglingly expensive coin! To get back to the real world, here are a few more British India/Princely States coins I have dug out: Baroda Paisa circa 1891, Gwallor quarter Anna circa 1899, Madras presidency 10 cash 1808, Calcutta presidency pice circa 1829.
I wish I could help you! I actually found this forum looking to answer a very similar question. I have a number of these little blighters myself - 4 of them on the desk in front of me - that I have given up on identifying. As I understand it they are most likely to be 18th or 19th century, but could be earlier. You can go completely dulali trying to track them down in Krause!
