I got $1000 in $2's and this is what I found: Nothing great but some interesting serials in Gem condition... The best is 04400400 (no the next pack was not at the bank)
searched through a bunch of singles at the bank today, and ended up finding five $1 stars: 2009 L00423949* (640K) oddly enough, from the same print run as... 2009 L00533859* (640K) 2006 B03648020* 2006 K02612615* 2006 L09526991* not too bad for one day's work. my total number of $1 stars should top 300 very soon, if it hasn't already.
picked this one out of the drawer this morning. it's not a super-duper-low serial but it is binary, and in decent shape.
My new oldest $1 find! Though 1963A is about as old as you can get for $1 feds. While my friend and I were at Baskin Robbin's, I saw this come back in his change and I pounced on him! (And later explained why.) It's not in awesome shape: a few small tears and some yellowing, but not bad for its age. It sure made me happy!
I got some old $2's from the bank today and was lucky enought to find about 20 from 1976 covering 8 of the 12 districts. I also found a nice low print J*
Picked up 35 red seal $2 bills. Many is great condition. Haven't check them all yet but one was a star note. Will update if anything good.
I found a 2009 $10 JB 35757357 C, in change today. Do you guys think it would be worth more than $10?
NO FREAKIN WAY!!!!! my grandma has a 1928 $2 bill that says "to michael with love on our wedding day" on it!!!!. but its in black ink, not green and it doesnt say elsia, and i dont remember what the date on it is
I went through 2,500 singles today and I had some good finds: 1974 L-D 1977 L-B 1977A L-H 1985 I-A, L-L, L-T 1988 L-E 1988A B-C, G-A, L-T 1993 C-A (web), F-F, K-B, L-A (AU condition), L-J 1995 A-E, F-*, H-G, H-J, I-I (rare bookend), I-L, J-K, K-J, L-*, L-J, L-T, L-W (FW 295 error) Ten stars including a 2006 D-*. I haven't found a web note or a FW 295 error all year and today I found one of each in the same batch. The 1993 L-A is a great find as I haven't found that block before. The 1974 and 1977 are also good finds as those two series don't turn up too often. Today's finds more than make up for the 1,000 singles I went through on Wednesday that didn't contain a single pre-1999 note!
At work today, a customer paid with these two consecutive star notes. Pretty crisp, she probably just got it from the bank and it creased a bit in her purse.
