http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190893168361 Doubt they are maundy, but still a good price.
Of course - lousy photo, not maundy but that is likely not all that will go wrong with this transaction.
Am I seeing everything in this listing? I see silver or silver looking coins in white staple holders against a white background?
They are all silver, ranging from threepence to sixpence. I can see through logic that there is a 1874 3 pence from QV. That alone is worth $7.00 in VF. All the QV 3 pence are worth at least $7.00 in VF. So there is $21.00 if all 3 are indeed VF. The sixpence appears to be a mature bust, which starts at $7.00 in VF. So there is $28.00 The appears to be an edward VII sixpence which starts at $15 in VF. Now we are to $43.00 There is a 1910 threepence, which is worth $5.00 in VF. There is a 1902 3d, worth $5.00 in VF, so now we are to $53.00 So if all coins come out to be VF or better, there is about $60 or so here. It's a gamble, but at least you win SOMETHING with coins, vs loosing all money with a lotto ticket.
At 0.0420 actual silver weight per three pence, the total comes to about 0.546 ounces of silver. I hope that you receive the high grade coins that you desire.
I'm going to leave positive feedback regardless of the end result. I could of blew $35 on lotto tickets and not of won zilch.
I hope it works out. IMO, information about a purchase, be it text, photos, or whatever, should be clear and understandable. When it's not, it raises the possibility that maybe someone does not want you to understand it. Good luck.
