    Personally, I'd change some settings on that time machine, I'd go to 1914 and drive my great-great-great uncle's Model T to Denver and get myself some MS 1914-D pennies. Then I'd go forward to 1916, (still in Denver) and pick up some nice new (at the time) '16-D Mercury dimes.

    Even though I already posted, here is the way I can make a ton of money:

    Buy a time machine
    Go back in time to 1930.
    Buy MS69 1933 double eagles
    Go forward in time to 2100
    Sell a double eagle (lots of money)
    Go back in time to 2090
    Sell another double eagle (tons of money)
    Go back in time to 2080
    Sell another double eagle (crazy amounts of money)
    Go back in time to 2070
    Sell another double eagle (quite a few billions of $$)
    I steal your big pile of $$
    Go bankrupt
    I laugh at you :)

    End of story
