    Just type in "taking photos" in the search box of CT and you'll discover it will cost you very little to get elite pics. There's great advice on here!

    This used to be classified as an 1865/4 overdate. In 1865, a re-engraved 1864 digit punch was used to strike some of the fancy 5 Indian Head Cents. It is not considered an overdate, due to the fact that the same digit punch was used on some 1865 2-cent pieces. 1865:4date.jpg 1865f5.jpg

    Then there is also the old so called 1869/8, which has since been reclassified as a RPD. The variety pictured below is a Snow-4 example in MS63BN. This variety is much scarcer than the 1869 Snow-3 counterpart.
