Yep. And if someone likes any other kind of animal, I'm sure the DPRK has made a commem for it.

Like I said before in this thread, they make far too many commemorative coins as far as different kinds, but also in the number of coins for each kind, too. This makes the coins seem more like ubiquitous curios than valued collectibles. A visit to ebay will make that clear.

Anyway, I guess these coins are fodder for those type collectors out there...

 

Yeah it is neat, the only thing I can find with Googlefoo is 2001 and up. I did locate that 10K pieces were minted but I doubt it. Coin book says worth $30..again I doubt it.
