    I collect several things including the world by type. I have over 23,000 different pieces not includng bulk or duplicates.

    I have 80,000-100,000 in my hoard and a few dozen in my collection.

    Right now 33, by the end of the year 18, maybe 19 if the one I'm looking for is available.

    All in a SDB and insured.

    About 100 slabbed and 50 raw and that's where I try to stay... quality over quantity.

    I checked the wrong choice. first thought was near 400 but reading thru the thread made me think of a lot of other coins I have which was nice. probably near 600 coins.

    it used to be said that no collector should have more than 300 coins in their collection.once you reach that you should sell and buy better so the quality always improves.not easy to do so each to his own,but I can see the sense in it

    And not only the quality of the coins but also the $/coin ratio increases steadily with each upgrade... imagine you swap a common date franklin 64 with a rainbow toned 65-fbl that's quite an improvement.
