If I remember right, I think a transaction Merc took part in went wrong with another member. Let's just say the powers that be voted him off the island. It's a real shame, good guy and I enjoyed reading about his collection and coin roll hunting exploits.

Now that we're on this "where has ??? been" kick, anyone heard from Krispy or...believe it or not Detecto? Hobo is probably still gallavanting in the NE helping Sandy victims.

 

I have been trying to contact krispy. Generally he gets back to me very quickly. I haven't heard from him in months.

 

Agreed!! I want to start building a collection, of these and maybe Franklins. To go with my Kennedys and Ikes...

 

Haven't heard from Krispy, but I got a PM from Detecto yesterday, so that is one person I am comfy with saying is safe.

 

I'm working on Franklins too...should have a couple to post up soon...

 

He wasn't banned, if that's what you are implying by your "voted him off the island" comment...

Leaving us was his choice, and an understandable one at that. I don't know the details of what transpired (and I'd rather not), but let's just say some not-so-friendly comments were exchanged between him and the site mods.
