I will bet your "weird" is supposed to look like this with the egret directly atop of his foot in stead of about to fall on his rear.

You are correct. They are made with a punch and die. Some have a really wild look. There are a few threads here about these but I can't seem to find them.

I cannot remember if I posted these two new Mel Wacks counterstrikes or not?

    Whatever.

Both showed up in my eBay searches and both were bought and paid for without question.

MW20 LOS ANGELES SUMMER GAMES XXIII ‘84 Olympic Flame on 1976-S Kennedy CoinD.jpg MW19 1984 LOS ANGELES SUMMER GAMES Olympic Weightlifter on 1971-S Proof IKE CoinD.jpg

The Kennedy didn't care for the counterstrike and decided to distort itself. Note the "out of round" above the "R" in Liberty.

Just a few more to complete this collection but I expect that it's still years away from completion as some of these just never show up!

I like the Mel Wacks counterstamps 19Lyds...Yeah, I like all counterstamps, but Wacks' are well done. I only have one myself but will probably pick up one here and there. Most of them show up on eBay pretty often. I believe he issued a total of 27, so if you have most of them you're doing well. Good luck on getting the rest.
