I have a few other ones going. A Lincoln and a Washy. This is an NTC, or NC. The Blue is magnetic In hand, and has hints of dark purple. Two sets of Photos for this one, You are aloud two answers in the poll toning style and the TPG grade. Please give your grade below.
That looks like end-of-roll toning. Some coins tone on the high points when they're on the end of a roll, combined with a grade of roughly MS66. That's a nice find!
MS 67 on the slab and MS 66 would be my grade. ...that particular toning isn't really emblematic of any one type; I could even see the NTC holder causing it or just being in an environment like a velvet tray.
I don't know diddly about dimes, so I'll just say excellent coin. I still don't know how to determine full bands.
By the way, IMO it is from a flip. The lower bust is a high point on the coin this looks like a small hole in the plastic that toned over the years.
Thank you pickin. Your link explained this better than anything else I've ever seen regarding the subject. Too many times the explanation beats around the bush and completely ignores the basic question.
