Is This A Fair Price ?

A local man is selling Morgan and Peace dollars for $24.00
Just random coins. He says came from a estate.
You don't get to pick, he does that, you get X for X.
Right now I really want to worry more about weight as I have to little knowledge to try and buy quality dates.
Just plain old silver wise is this a OK deal?

$24 seems pretty fair, unless the coins are slick wear wise.

 

Unless they are cull dollars or not slicked, that is a fair price.

Not crazy good deal but you could probably sell them for 30 each on ebay if they are alright !!

True but not smart, if you buy a coin for $24 and you sell it on ebay you may lose money on ebay fees and PayPal to boot. In my book $24 is a fairly good deal.

 

Is this guy claiming this is one of the actual coins he's selling at $24? If so, I am guessing your BS meter doesn't work very well.

Not that there is anything wrong with being new, but if you're thinking of buying from unknown individuals, you have to be able to identify and value for yourself. An inexperienced buyer with cash in-hand is every con seller's dream.
