    Those are everyday coins here in Japan. The value is equivalent to about 10 cents, and for that money you can sometimes buy a type of kid's snack called "Umaibou"

    So what's Umaibou? Something like frosted french-fried octopus, or fugu, or other delicacies? :hungry::hungry:

    You're not too far off the mark :)
    Umaibou is a cylindrical snack that is hollow in the middle. I think it might be a kind of puffed corn, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, it comes in a wide range of flavors, including
