I picked these three coins up for under $10 with the thought that I could use them when trading coins, either as a trade or to help sweeten any deals. However, I would also like to point out what you can get for $10 rather than buying cleaning lots and ending up with a lot of slugs. 1. That's pretty darn good for ten apiece. Sometimes you just need a snack. I've got two official collections I'm working on, and good pieces for them are pricey, so I have to save up. Of course, that gets boring, so I end up snagging a coin here and there out of the bargain bin.
Bottom feeder.......very nice jw... i'm going to post a coin soon, i thought was a super bottom feeder price, man i was wrong..
Bing => super cool coins (hey, they're all cool, right? => coins rock!!) ... yah, and maybe I'm a bit of a spoilt brat, but I am a firm believer in buying coins that I want to keep, rather than being a dude that buys a bunch o' bartering-coins!!
Spoilt brat!! JA: I was just hunting on the bay. No one paid any attention to these coins. They all came from a single seller, but it's not a seller I've purchased from in the past. It was the AP coin that caught my attention. I have a AR Didrachm with a similar reverse: OBV: ANTWNEI-NOC CEBACTOC, laureate head right REV: YPAT B PAT PATR, Helios, holding globe and sceptre, standing atop Mt. Argaeus; * in exergue Struck at Caesaria, Cappadocia, 139AD 6.2g, 21mm Syd 301c
If you are talking about the Constantinople City Commemorative with the Victory reverse, I will be glad to give it to you free of charge. Send me a PM with your address if you want it.
