Ancient: Gallienus, i got the Goat..

    Lots of nice goats but a goat in a pickup is not appropriate for a discussion on ancients. Therefore I'll offer one that I'd really like to see on a Gallienus:

    i found this picture online, not sure what was going on here....
    not sure i want to know..... but this would be a great gallieus reverse.

    but very cool coins ENG, what a nice looking batch. i'm eager to see the obverses when you get them.

    Well these coins showed up yesterday, i think the obverse of the unseen lot not bad. interesting one of these coins is a brockage, can't seem to get a good picture of it.

    I don't see it. Perhaps there is a die clash? Can you see these reverse brockages? I believe the coins of the period were made with pincher dies and reverse brockages are more common than obverse. The first is unusual in that it shows a bit of the regular obverse (letter G from AVG) so the coin that caused it was falling out when struck???
